The free hot breakfast—which includes a make-your-own-omelet station—is a favorite perk for families, while grown-ups enjoy the complimentary nightly cocktails. The Washington Convention Center is two blocks away, so this hotel is always hopping. Sports fans will cheer that fact that the Verizon Center, a top sports venue, is just over three blocks away. As far as attractions go, the National Portrait Gallery and the Smithsonian American Art Museum are three blocks away, and the International Spy Museum is one block beyond that. For getting around town, the Mount Vernon Square subway station is two blocks away, Metro Center is three and McPherson Square is four. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is five miles south.
