Head north on 14th Street or 17th Street or west on P Street for restaurants and clubs ranging from trendy to traditional. You won't want to miss Dupont Circle, about four blocks northwest, one of the prettiest pocket parks in the city. Sidewalk cafes and designer boutiques radiate in every direction, especially along Massachusetts Avenue. The closest Metro station is also at Dupont Circle, but the Farragut North is just one block farther. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is five miles away—if you have lots of luggage, a taxi is the best way to go.
