Description
TodayTix is seeking a talented, Business Insights Analyst to join their Data Insights Team. This team supports their Accounts, Marketing and Product teams. As a key member of these teams, you will work closely with Senior Leadership to uncover insights using available data and make recommendations in collaboration with stakeholders to unlock opportunities for the respective teams or company at large.

● The Accounts team is charged with managing all aspects of partner relationships (B2B) and tracking by show sales trends to unlock incremental partner and enterprise value.
● The Marketing team is charged with growing awareness of the TodayTix brand and acquiring and retaining users to build up the demand side of the platform (B2C).
● The Product Team is charged with building, maintaining and optimizing all elements of the TodayTix platform including native iOS and Android apps, a transactional website and various "behind the scenes" tools used to track, power and populate the consumer facing products (online and offline).

Tools Used:
● Looker
● Amplitude
● Python, R and excel for business analysis
● Their data warehouse is hosted in AWS Redshift
● External vendor tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, YouTube AnalyticsTune etc.
● Other potential or good to know tools: Alooma, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Segment

Responsibilities
● A keen eye for detecting data trends, defects and anomalies
● Identify opportunities and make specific recommendations based on advanced analytics to develop new strategies and improve business performance
● Provide strategic insights derived from financial/operational, channel event and/or sales data that drive impact and increases in yield of new customers, sales or operational efficiency.
● Operate as a member of business teams and build relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify opportunities for deep analytics on customer behavior and platform performance
● Integrate data from various third party and first party data sources
● Design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading pipelines and processes in production
● Build SQL Scripts for processing and analysis of data
● Data analysis and data quality checks for completeness and accuracy
● Maintain reporting systems

About you
● Experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling and ETL development
● Understanding of AWS components and service a plus
● Experience in working in a Business Insights team is a plus
● Experience leveraging customer, digital, online and offline data together to aid yield optimization or operational efficiency
● A track record of working well with business stakeholders
● You like to work in a self-directed environment and peers would call you curious/inquisitive
